We felt at home within the pages of a magazine that shares our international mind set; Etapes chronicles the world of design on transcontinental level, giving readers the whole story on what designers and artists are up to the world over. http://www.plusetplus.com/print.php?id=DOCMARTENS When Doc Martens held an in-store event at New York's Macy's department store, they chose us to create original stencils, which were used to airbrush custom shoes and boots on site. We chose imagery that expressed the connection between London and New York, and scuffed it up with the rock and roll aesthetic that Doc Martens have always been at the forefront of. The wrap we created for a promotional London style taxi saw an army of these Doc Marten clad queens marching down it's side, accompanied by snarling British lions, guitar wielding silhouettes, and a ghetto blaster for good measure.
